Established as a second-tier polity minutiae group limited by guarantee, pursuit the recognition of a gap in service provision and the marginalisation of the Irish Traveller polity in Britain, the TM gained charitable status in 2003.Pursuita recognised demand  on the services, impact , capabilities and reach of our work,  TM expanded its remit in 2008 to include work with all other Gypsy Roma and Traveller (GRT) communities wideness Britain. We  scheduled a new  CEO, ripened a new strategic business  plan and reverted our name to The Traveller Movement in 2013 to reflect our wider reach and work. The Traveller Movement was instrumental in the minutiae of the Traveller Law Reform Project (TLRP) and managed the project for a few years. Under TMs management together with the steering group at the time the project won the Law Society Human Rights Award in 2004. Joe Browne and Yvonne MacNamara were on the steering group at the time. Core Values We believe that favoritism is wrong We are opposed to racism in all its forms We value and promote diversity We believe in equality of wangle to services and in equality under the law We value and promote self-determination, yoyo that individuals have the right to make choices well-nigh issues well-expressed them We endorse the Declaration of Human Rights We value the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller identities and cultures We work in partnership with the Gypsy Roma and  Traveller communities  Our Vision is of a world in which members of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Communities reach their full potential; where they are accepted, proud of who they are and have an equal voice.  Our Mission is to develop a platform and voice for Travellers, working in solidarity with Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, within the UK and wideness Europe, to unzip equality through self-determination and proactive participation in influencing and shaping policy.  Our Ambition is to proffer our EU influence and remain the most constructive UK resource, information and lobbying soft-heartedness for groups, organisations and individuals working for and with the Gypsy Roma and Traveller communities in Britain so that collectively we can bring well-nigh significant, positive transpiration for people living in those communities. I have gained increasingly sensation which will indulge me to have a largest understanding when working with the Travelling community.
